Meter Replacement Collateral

Power and Water Corporation required a range of collateral materials to communicate with the community about a large-scale power meter replacement initiative. The materials needed to inform a diverse audience, including remote communities, in an accessible and culturally appropriate way.

bellette was tasked with creating clear and engaging resources to educate the public about the new prepayment power meters and how to use them. The scope of work included: Developing written content for all materials, including the client's website, the fact sheets and video scripts; Campaign concept development to ensure a consistent approach across materials; How-to video animations - these animations visually demonstrated the replacement process and how to use the new meters, simplifying technical instructions for users of all literacy levels; Posters and illustrations - the posters featured user-friendly illustrations to display key messages at a glance, making them effective in remote settings; Videos in multiple languages - recognising the linguistic diversity of the Northern Territory, bellette re-edited the how-to videos in various Indigenous languages in the Northern Territory, ensuring that important information reached all communities.

The collaboration between bellette and Power and Water Corporation resulted in effective visually accessible collateral. These materials helped bridge the communication gap in the remote and Indigenous communities, improving awareness and understanding of the prepayment power meter replacement process. This project not only met the client’s needs but also demonstrated bellette’s ability to tailor communication strategies for diverse and multi-lingual audiences.
